Unibind’s system is based on a light-weight steel spine impregnated with thermal
adhesive. This European manufacturer makes a unique cover with a transparent front
and back. Binds up to 1/2” thick documents using Unibind covers.
The Pro-Bind 2000 System and Pro-Crimper is a desktop system that is loaded with
features. The Pro-Bind 2000 has separate soft & hard cover cycles to make binding
a variety of different types of covers a snap. The Pro-Crimper will add the finishing
touch to hard case thermal covers by crimping and forming the spine after the binding
cycle. The Pro-Bind 2000 system uses BSA’s U-CAT® Technology soft and hard covers.
BSA is recognized as a leading manufacturer of innovative thermal binding systems
that are user friendly, fast and provide that “perfect bound” look that will help
your documents to stand out from the rest. With it’s small footprint, the Multibind
desktop system can be used anywhere in the office and will bind up to 2” worth of
documents in a 60 second cycle. The Autobind system is for high volume applications
and can bind up to 40 documents in a 40 second cycle. Documents are placed in a cassette
and then loaded into the Autobind, which will jog and bind the documents with a press
of a button. Both systems work with BSA’s U-CAT® Technology ensuring a “perfect bound”
document every time you use the equipment.

BSA’s U Channel Adhesive Technology, commonly referred to as U-CAT® technology, provides
a more secure bind and is not prone to errors that plague traditional single or 3
strip covers. The secret behind U-CAT® is that the thermal adhesive and spine are
pre-formed during the manufacturing process. This creates a U shaped adhesive channel
that surrounds the binding edge of the document during the binding cycle ensuring
a “perfect bound” document every time.
